FRIENDSHIP BOOK

My daughter had some friends over the night of my baby shower. So, there were tons of pictures. I wanted to put something together that she could cherish and have forever. This way she would never forget the shower or the fun times she had that day and evening. I thought the lil book turned out very nicely :) I used alot of flowers. I used the graphically speaking cricut cartridge for the "best of friends" title. I also embossed the backing to give it some cute lil texure. I also used an assortment of friendship stickers. I left a place on the inside front cover for MacKenzie to write up something that she wanted about the shower, the day, her friends, etc. I will have to be sure to remind her to put the date in there so we never forget. Anyway....hope you like this lil book and get some inspiration from in for your next mini!!!!

BABY GIFT FOR A FRIEND

This was a mini book that I put together for a friend of mine that has been pregnant the same time as me. She is exactly 4 weeks behind me. So, I wanted to make her something to show her that I was thinking about her and followed her pregnancy whenever she posted things on facebook and such.
She said she really liked monkeys, so I tried to incorporate that into the book.
I left room for journaling and/or pics whatever she decided. I hope she loves it as much as I did. This was a very consuming project. Took me 5 hours to put this together. I wish I would have done more 3D on some of it, but overall I am happy with it. :)

JUST A FEW CHRISTMAS LAYOUTS

I completed these scrap pages a couple of weeks ago, but I had not had time to get them posted until now. These pictures were of myself and my youngest daughter. I really loved these pictures that we took just for fun. Wanted to do something really cute and special, but my head went blank and was only able to come up with this. Oh well, better than nothing I suppose.
This layout is of my 3 kids sitting in front of the xmas tree. Random faces and posing. Just basically something to go down in the scrapbook. I wish I could have done more, but I kinda got stuck on these pages.
HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING FUN SCRAPPING AND CRAFTING. I HAVE LOTS MORE TO DO BEFORE MY LIL' BABY WYATT MAKES HIS SCREAMING ARRIVAL INTO THE WORLD. SO, I WILL BE BUSY THESE NEXT FEW WEEKS. :) HAPPY SCRAPPING AND CRAFTING TO ALL!!!!

CARD FOR A FRIEND TO GIVE

So, a friend of mine texts me and asks if I would like to make a card for her to give to "like an 80 yr old man for his birthday" (ha). So, I love making cards, whatever the occasion. So, I took the challenge. I think it turned out really well, however, it is most definetly a challenge to get a man birthday card completed. I find that "manly" cards, pages, gifts, etc. are a challenge in themselves. I hope she ends up liking the card enough to give to him and doesn't end up trashing it (ha).

THANK YOU CARD FOR BABY SHOWER PEEPS

So, I had a wonderful baby shower thanks to my bestie who prepared and planned it for me. There was quite the turnout and I got pretty much all the items on my "have to have now" list. So, in turn I wanted to thank all the people who were nice enough to stop in or send a gift. Here is the lil Thank You card I made for everyone.
I used the New Arrival cricut cartridge. I ended up typing on the computer my lil thanks and then attaching it to the back. Hope everyone ends up loving it as much as I did. I even kept one back for Baby Wyatt's book.

So when checking my blogger updates I seen that someone was giving away $100.00. That is right!!! No mistake!! $100.00. So, I am meeting the qualifications to participate in her blog candy (that is what the giveaway is called). So, here is the link.... Be sure to check it out. What will it hurt? GRANDPAS BIRTHDAY BASKET

I created this birthday basket for my grandpa. It was my 1st one. Not really sure if I like it, but it is definetly different from the regular card and lottery tickets. I think I learned, after doing this one, that I should organize my cricut items into the basket 1st and then work around it. Because I did the opposite and I only had room for the one cricut "happy birthday". And the point was to make more cricut items. But for being my first one, I am pleased. Taught me what to do and what not to do for the next basket that I complete. This is the Birthday card that I made to go with the basket for him. Simple, plain, but cute. I really liked the turnout of this card.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PAGE

This is the layout that I completed for my girls' Xmas Program at school. They enjoy this every year. Billy and I enjoy going and watching the girls participate in this. They always have a theme. This year was an Indiana Christmas. It was the last year for the girls to be in the Christmas Program for this school because they will be going to Middle School. Makes me sad. So, it was xtra special watching it this year.

WELCOME LITTLE ONE

I created this card for my close friends and family. I wanted to show off the 3D image that baby Wyatt had. I used the New Arrival cartridge for most of it.
I learned while making this card that glitter paper needs (I think) a deep cut blade. The cricut had a hard time cutting it.

VALENTINES

This is the cute lil' Valentine's Day cards my two girls did for their class party. Using the Doodlecharms cartridge we cut 3 1/2 of the heart in pink on blackout and 3 1/2 of the heart in white on shadow. We then put two holes in for the string and tied the pencil to the heart. Cute and very easy for a class of 18 and 15. The best part was the quality time talking and assembling these cards. Took about 2 hours. But it was definetly worth it.

BABY WYATT DAY

Well, today we got to view our lil' guy in 3D and 4D. I did not know the difference between 3 and 4D. But the sonographer explained to me that 3D are the images (still) and that 4D is the movement you can see in the womb. My husband and I were so very ecstatic about this day. We got to see Wyatt smile, suck, move his hand over his face, stretch, kick, etc. It was such a wonderful experience. I loved every minute of it. I have learned that he will be very stubborn for us in later life because, of course, he would not cooperate well. But we did get a few great pictures and the video. I can not wait to meet this lil' feller. He already melts my heart.
